Meditation is great method of centering and grounding oneself anytime or anywhere in your day. I encourage my students to try and incorporate a short meditation daily. Personally, I begin and end my own yoga practice with a short meditation. I also try to begin my morning with a brief Pranayama meditation and end with some restorative yoga poses, guided sound and metta meditation. Sometimes I focus on specific colors to balance my energy. By focusing on the breath and using visualization to center and focus the mind clarity and relief from daily struggles or challenges can be achieved.
