Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy is a healing and awakening modality. I combine Structural anatomical alignment of the physical body with energetic techniques, breathwork, guided meditation, and connective dialogue to open the way for the sacred impulse to heal us, develop our higher capacities and evolve us individually and collectively.  An evolution in harmony with the Barbara Brennan School of Healing teachings and philosophies.  Using light healing and Reiki we focus the integration of light work in the physical, within the context of awakening and conscious evolution.  

Deep Tissue / Athletic BODYWORK  

For the direct relief of tension and pain of muscles, a deep tissue massage will go directly to the source of the issue. Melissa will utilize a series of direct pressure and friction techniques across the grain of the muscles to realign the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to ease discomfort.  Also commonly referred to as a Sports Massage, this massage is helpful for serious yoga practitioners and athletes alike, as a remedy for soreness and tension from exercise and very active lifestyles. Through both deep tissue and Thai Massage techniques culminated with China Gel, Tiger balm, and heat soreness will soon be a distant memory.

Thai Yoga Therapy

For a deeper massage exploration of the connection between your mind and body, Thai Yoga Massage is a 2,500 year old practice where Melissa will gently guide your body into gentle yoga poses paired with breath work and her full support. She will use acupressure and deep tissue techniques to stretch out your "kinks" and loosen up tense tight and restrained muscles and joints. This is a more dynamic type of massage allowing for greater relief of lower back, shoulder and joint related pains.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot stone is an organic bodywork using warmed stones on parts of the body.  The stones used are typically river rocks or other very smooth-surfaced stones. These stones are heated in sanitizing water before use.  Hot stone bodywork is beneficial on both physical and psychological levels.


The ThetaHealing technique is a meditation technique and spiritual philosophy - not specific to one religion but accepting them all - with the purpose of getting closer to the Creator. It is a training method for your mind, body and spirit that allows you to clear limiting beliefs and live life with positive thoughts, developing virtues in all that we do. Through meditation and prayer, the ThetaHealing Technique creates a positive lifestyle.
